
Sometimes you reach a point in your life, where you start to feel uncertain. You might start to doubt what your journey is all about or you might even start to see yourself, and realise… you don’t know that person anymore.
Sometimes, everything feels stagnant and like you’re going nowhere. Sometimes you lose the spark that ignites your inner flame.
… and you know what? That is okay. It happens. It really is okay. Take some time and do something that you know you would enjoy. During that time, sit and think a bit about “why” – why are you waking up each morning? Why are you saving the rands in your pocket? Why are you going to the gym or why are you simply not doing anything anymore?
Your ‘why’ is important. Your reason for why you are feeling the way you are feeling is valid and important. If you have no reason why you are feeling the way you are, that is also an answer.
Introspection helps, maybe not today, maybe in a while only but it really does help.
Don’t be afraid to make the changes needed. To cut the individuals off in your life, or sometimes the opposite. To include some people that you have mistakenly cut off.
Life might feel stagnant but the reality is it is ever-changing and you sometimes just need a refresher of what you have and what you can achieve.
or, just live in the moment for now. No rush. But spark the seeds in order for them to start to grow at the back of your mind. We are all on our own journeys. It’s okay to not always feel your best. It’s okay to sometimes feel like you can run a marathon and the next day you cannot even change the tv channel. It is okay. You are okay. We will all be okay.
One day at a time, one breath at a time, Shine bright even on the cloudiest of days.
