Back by popular demand, for one final Joburg run.
Following sold-out seasons across South Africa, award nominations and a sold-out international debut in London, A Doll’s Life: Confessions of a Quarter Life Crisis returns to Theatre on the Square in Sandton from 24 to 28 November 2026.
What started as one DOLL having a quarter-life crisis has become a hit one-woman show, playing to thousands of audience members across South Africa before crossing the pond for its London debut at Camden People’s Theatre.

From Cape Town to London and back
Written and performed by Micaela Jade Tucker and originally directed by Lara Toselli, A Doll’s Life has earned Naledi and Fleur du Cap Theatre Award nominations, sold out seasons across the country, and taken DOLL all the way from Cape Town to Durban, Joburg and London.
Part stand-up, part theatre, part public overshare, the show throws itself headfirst into turning 25, sex, relationships, Jewish identity, shame, HPV and the general horror of realising that you are, technically, an adult.
Funny, filthy, vulnerable and probably more information than you asked for.
One final time
After an incredible run at home and abroad, DOLL is bringing the show back to Johannesburg by popular demand, one final time. If you have not seen it yet, this is your last chance.
