Spring is in the air, and with it comes a fresh breeze of laughter and love. The Montecasino Theatre is set to host a comedy sensation that will leave you in stitches, yet touch your heart in ways you never expected.

“Same Time, Next Year” is not just a play; it’s a celebration of life, love, and the human connection. It’s a story that transcends time, capturing the essence of a relationship that’s both passionate and platonic, yet never ordinary.

Meet George and Doris, two characters who are happily married but not to each other. Their annual romantic weekend getaway at a cosy B&B is a tradition spanning 25 years. It’s a relationship that’s short in duration but long in memories, a snapshot of life’s rollercoaster ride.

Alan Committie, the multi-award-winning actor and comedian, takes on the role of George, while the celebrated Sharon Spiegel Wagner portrays Doris. Together, they bring a chemistry that’s both hysterical and heartwarming.

Directed by the legendary Christopher Weare and designed by the acclaimed Niall Griffin, the production promises a night of pure entertainment. Theatre tycoon Pieter Toerien couldn’t have put it better: “In our current climate, a night of laughter and heart is exactly what our audience is looking for.”

Don’t miss this limited season at Pieter Toerien’s Montecasino Theatre from 20th September to 8th October. Book your tickets now and be part of a classic Broadway comedy that’s been reimagined for today’s audience.
