Wow, what an incredible three days at rAge Expo! From 9-11 December, the Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand Gauteng was filled with gaming, tech, gadgets, and geek lifestyle entertainment. It was a digital feast for the senses and a glimpse into the future of technology.

One of the highlights of the expo was the latest gaming equipment on display. From consoles to VR headsets, there was something for everyone to try out and enjoy. People were having so much fun trying out the latest games and living in the moment. And with so many companies offering prizes, there were plenty of winners throughout the weekend.

The rAgeX conference was a standout for me, with speakers discussing the latest technologies and how they’re changing our world. From crypto to the Metaverse and machine learning, there was so much to learn and be inspired by.

But the fun didn’t stop there. The Intel Africa Masters CS:GO tournament finals were packed with excitement, and the Tekken gaming competition was a blast to watch. There were so many other events happening in real-time, it was hard to keep up!

And let’s not forget the amazing cosplayers at the GES COSPLAY COMPETITION. I have lots of photos on my social media channels, and if anyone wants a copy of their photo, just reach out to me directly.

The vendors at the expo were also fantastic, selling all kinds of geeky merchandise from stickers and badges to action figures and memorabilia. And the food options were great with fast and efficient service.

After a COVID hiatus, it was amazing to see Africa’s biggest LAN back and better than ever. The event was a roaring success and a great way to end 2022.

I give rAge Expo full marks and want to thank everyone who attended for being friendly, courteous, and making the event enjoyable for everyone. Can’t wait for the next one!
