Ilán van Staden is a South African singer-songwriter who is taking the music scene by storm. With his latest single, ONTLAAI (unwind), Ilán is encouraging everyone to take a break from the stress of daily life and to relax. The music video for ONTLAAI was just released and it’s already causing quite a stir.

The video was filmed at Lubeksdal Lodge and directed by Johan Vorster. Ilán, his father Michael, and friends Revan Luus, CJ Woller and Zian Roux all feature in this brand-new video. The video captures the essence of what the song is about – unwinding and doing what you love. In Ilán’s case, this means hunting, fishing and relaxing around the campfire.

The single is available for download. Get it here:

Ilán wrote ONTLAAI with Johan Vorster and David de Villiers and he hopes the song will inspire people to take a break from their busy lives and enjoy the simple things. “Sometimes you are under so much pressure that it becomes too much. This is when you need to stop, catch your breath and do what you love,” he says.

Ilán is a busy man. Not only is he preparing for his lead role in the upcoming musical Die Kaplyn, but he is also in the process of finalizing his debut album. He is also the founder of Ilán’s Music Academy, which he started five years ago, and he is planning on touring the country later this year.

The single is now available for download and the music video can be watched on YouTube.

If you’re looking for a feel-good track to help you unwind and relax, ONTLAAI is the perfect choice. Ilán van Staden is making music that inspires, uplifts and brings people together. So why not give it a listen and join the movement?
