The Stadio School of Fashion’s Design Studio is energised to announce its latest venture: a distinct, three-month, short-term course designed to streamline the journey into the vibrant fashion and design world. Abandoning the need for long-term qualifications and extravagant fees, the Design Studio has formulated an approach that combines accessibility, affordability and proficiency.

Brimming with passion, and bearing a rich tapestry of experience, the Design Studio aims to be a trailblazer in the world of fashion education. The newly introduced course brings together a finely curated curriculum, carefully designed to instil practical skills and theoretical comprehension within a condensed timeline. The focus lies on preparing students for the professional environment of fashion, letting them dip their toes into the vast sea of opportunities that await.

The course content is tailored to create a fertile ground for budding fashion professionals, nurturing their talents in pattern making, garment manufacturing, and creative design. This comprehensive approach facilitates an enriching environment that enables students to grasp specific creative and technical information required in the fashion design field.

This unique programme encapsulates four key facets – Creative Design, Garment Construction, Pattern Design and Makeup. The fusion of these core elements furnishes students with the much-needed arsenal to propel their fashion career skyward.

For a period of ten weeks, students will find themselves immersed in a hands-on learning experience. Guided by a dedicated facilitator, they will embark on an adventure where personalised mentorship plays an instrumental role. Through each passing day, they will be equipped with a multitude of tools and techniques, acting as stepping stones for the completion of fashion-related projects.

Divided into four segments, each section of the programme allows students to delve deep into their preferred area. The Creative Design module opens the door to the principles of design, encouraging students to look beyond the conventional and harness inspiration from the world around them.

In the Garment Construction module, students master the art of bringing designs to life by using basic garment construction equipment and practising hands-on techniques. The Pattern Design module enhances students’ ability to apply basic measurements and drafting methods, paving the way for them to navigate through the fashion industry confidently.

Last, but by no means least, the Makeup module complements their fashion skills with an understanding of the principles and practices of makeup application, enriching their portfolio and broadening their opportunities.

The Design Studio’s programme welcomes anyone who harbours a passion for fashion and aspires to leave their mark in the industry. Students have the freedom to either complete the Design Studio programme or enhance their learning through the Online Fashion Entrepreneurship Short Learning Programme. Whichever path they choose, students can expect to unlock a wealth of knowledge, equipping them to establish their very own fashion brand.
